Masters Degree to get the Right Job

Hi. Im a wannabe biostatistician. I wanna go to grad school for biostatitics &epidemiology.. or Master of public health program.

I heard from some people that it is bit hard to get a job only with master degree.
Is it TRUE?
IS IT REALLY TRUE?
I dont think I able pursue PhD in biostatistics.. too much for me.
How do you think? I rather assumed before that jobs for master holders are more than for phD holders.
